Allow me to introduce you to the Hive at Barleylands.

We offer good honest food served by friendly staff. With the emphasis on home cooking out chef strives to use local, seasonal produce wherever possible. His chosen suppliers are small, independent companies who really care about their customers and take pride in the food they produce. Our frequently changing menu reflects this and whether you choose homemade cake and coffee, one of our freshly cooked specials or anything in between we hope you enjoy your meal and visit us again soon.

The Hive is easily accessible with a large car park situated on a farm with a craft village. We pride ourselves on providing a high quality, friendly service at reasonable prices and look forward to welcoming you to the Honeycomb Room.

The Hive At Barleylands - Restauraunt

The restaurant at the Hive is extremely spacious and we feel this adds to the relaxed feel of the room. You can be sure that you will be sitting comfortably when you enjoy our great range of local produce, all freshly prepared on the premises to make sure your food is at its best.

The wide range of foods available from local farms and our policy of purchasing locally whenever possible, mean that there is always a wide choice of seasonal specials for you to enjoy.. Natually our menu has a number of favourites that are always available, but if you feel like a little adventure, you have come to the right place.

Barleylands is a centre where there is always a special activity, show or promotion going on, so we try to offer specials in step with the current activity too. We feel that you should still be a part of the fun even if you are hungry and want to stop for something to revive you. If you have a particular favourite that you are having trouble tracking down, we are always open to suggestions that will expand our range of products. Naturally we can't guarantee to get hold of everything, but we do have an extensive network of suppliers and farms that we can call on for information.
